Membership
HealthCare First Credit Union’s field of membership is open to any person working in the health care field in Cambria, Blair, and Somerset counties in Pennsylvania. This includes, but is not limited to, doctors, medical staff, technicians, hospital volunteers, emergency response personnel, and their family members.

If you are eligible to become a member of HealthCare First Credit Union, joining is very easy. Eligible members must complete a membership application and make an initial minimum Share deposit of $5.00 and a membership fee of $1.00. A social security number and proof of identification are also needed in order to open an account.
You can deposit to your account at any time either in person, by mail, payroll deduction, or by direct deposit.

Customer Identification Requirements
In accordance with Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT ACT, applicants for new accounts are requested to provide current picture identification that verifies identity including name, address, and other identifying information.
In some cases, identification will be requested for current account holders if original documentation was not obtained with opening of the account. In all cases, protection of customer’s identity and confidentiality is our pledge to you.

Locations
HealthCare First Credit Union has seven office locations in Johnstown and Altoona. Our Johnstown locations include our main office on Franklin Street, our Richland office at the Credit Union Complex, and an office in Davidsville at Laurel View Village. Our Altoona offices include our main office in Duncansville beside Blue Knob Auto, our office at UPMC Altoona Hospital, an office in the Station Medical Mall, and an office in Homewood at Martinsburg.
Member Services
HealthCare First Credit Union offers members a variety of financial services. Online services include home banking, online bill pay, and mobile banking with the Access24 app. Instructions for all services can be found at any credit union office. Other member services include savings accounts, checking accounts, a variety of IRA’s and certificates, club accounts, credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, a variety of loan options and much more. We offer a variety of loans to meet every need. We offer vehicle loans, personal loans, share secured loans, home owners, payday loans, home equity loans, and home equity line of credit.
Loan applications can be picked up at any office, mailed to your home address, emailed, or faxed to you. Application must be returned to a HealthCare First Credit Union office.
